A good to-do list tool can completely change your life. For me, Todoist is that tool.
It is the single most important tool I use every day, and I have been using it for over a decade. Without it, I would be completely lost. It keeps me productive, consistent, and organised across everything. From personal tasks to business projects, this is the system that keeps it all running.
Why I Use Todoist:
I have tried many productivity tools over the years, but nothing comes close to Todoist. Here is what makes it stand out for me:
It is always available when I need it and stays focused on what it was made to do
It is fast, lightweight, and easy to use
It helps me stay focused, clear, and in control
Once it is set up properly, planning your day becomes simple and smooth
That is exactly what I look for in a tool like this. It needs to work well, without getting in the way.
How I Use It:
The key is to make using Todoist part of your daily rhythm. The moment something comes to mind - whether it is a task, reminder, or idea - I add it right away.
No delays. No overthinking. Just open the tool and type it in.
What makes this possible is that Todoist is available on all platforms. It does not matter whether I am using my phone, laptop, desktop, tablet, or switching between operating systems. Todoist is always there.
This is a big reason why I have stuck with it for so many years. It gives me the flexibility to work from anywhere and stay organised, no matter what device I am using.
Once you build this habit of capturing tasks the moment they show up, you will feel lighter, more focused, and more in control of your time.
Collaboration:
Todoist also works really well when you are working with others.
You can share task lists with your team, your partner, or your clients. Assign tasks, leave notes, and stay updated together without the need for long messages or back-and-forth communication.
Whether it is planning a campaign, building a website, or even just a shared grocery list, having a clean and simple shared task system makes a big difference.
If You’re New to To-Do Tools:
If you already use something like Apple Reminders or Microsoft To Do and it works well for you, that is perfectly fine.
However, if you don't have a system in place, I highly recommend trying Todoist.
It does not matter what you do or how busy your day is. Having a tool like this gives you structure, helps you remember the right things, and takes the pressure off your mind.
